PRODUCT OVERVIEW
LWIR lenses are specialized thermal‑optical assemblies. They gather thermal radiation from ambient‑temperature objects and focus it onto uncooled VOx microbolometer FPA detectors. Conventional optical glass completely blocks 8‑14 μm infrared light, so only IR‑transparent crystals and chalcogenide glass can be adopted.
Designed to maximize camera performance, the infrared zoom lens assemblies provide the competitive advantages required in the field and market space for a wide range of defense and commercial applications.
